Sir Nicholas Kenyon CBE

Sir Nicholas Kenyon is Managing Director of the Barbican Centre and was previously responsible for the BBC Proms (1996-2007). 

An influential figure in the UK’s musical and cultural life, he will be speaking on the role of arts and culture in the future of a thriving City.

Nicholas is an English music administrator, editor and writer on music. He was responsible for the BBC Proms in 1996–2007, after which he was appointed Managing Director of the Barbican Centre.
